All I can say is WOW. Best seafood I've had since I lived in Florida. She had the grilled Oysters and the Oyster Rockefeller and coleslaw. I had the Shrimp and Scallop Rockefeller Linguini, calamari, anda salad. The grilled oysters were so good, we got another order before we left. Five stars for sure and we will definitely be back!
This place is great. Our server Carly was the best she was so attentive. The food was so delicious. We ate our fill of seafood which is what we were craving. Everything was cooked perfect the Sangria picture made 8 glasses so definitely a good deal. We will be back. Thanks to the Ketch.
This was our first dining experience at Ketch and we were very impressed! The servings are generous, the seafood tasted fresh and everything was perfectly seasoned. My husband is an okra connoisseur and said theirs is some of the best he's had. I got the Pelican Platter that has shrimp, crab cakes, fried fish, and fried clams. I chose fried and slaw for my sides (the slaw came out first, so it isn't pictured but it was good, hearty, blend.) My husband had the fried catfish and shrimp and said it was crispy without being greasy. The price is fair for seafood this far inland. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere reminded us of some of our favorite spots in Saint Augustine.
Really attentive service our waitress was amazing. The portions are huge....I mean HUGE.... almost ridiculously so. My voodoo casserole could have easily fed 2 adults (I ordered the loaded baked potato (came out on its own plate) as my side). My dining companion had one of the bucket meals (came with two sides). He enjoyed it. If you leave hungry it's because you chose not to eat your full meal. The service in the south is really exemplary. The restaurant is one of those looks like it's been there forever. Decent value for your money. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel solid recommendation.
Allison, our server, did a great job. I had oysters and my wife had the fried calamari, both were delicious. We each also had a bucket of snow crab and shrimp and all were delicious as well. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely the best food and kind service of nearly any restaurant!! My son got the crayfish and shrimp bucket. It was a LOT of food, plus two sides. My husband got a HUGE dish of shrimp and grits that were incredibly flavorful. There was enough for two meals. I got the scallops with a salad and okra. So good!! The salad was so fresh and a good size as well. We got Chesapeake oysters and fried banana rings for appetizers and it was more than enough for three of us to share. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in Lexington!!
Great seafood restaurant! You can always tell by the parking lot if the place is going to be good and this place was great!! It was packed when we got there but we were quickly seated. We started off with the peel and eat shrimp(cold) and the Mrs. had the fried fish with fried okra while I enjoyed the fish and chips! The other couple with us had the Shrimp and Grits and the blackened fish tacos!! Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals! The waitress was fabulous checking back on us often to see if we needed anything!! Great place so if you haven't been check it out!!
I am from Delaware and I came here tonight because they had really good review and were close. Thank god I came. I mean this when I say this... They have some of the best seafood I have ever put into my mouth. Everything was full of flavor. My hold party I was with were speechless. The staff was very friendly. A very nice place. A must go if you are in town.
